Eckler Electric

I contacted Eckler and asked if they could give me a quote. The electrician came out and was less than enthusiastic about quoting my business. He stated he would get back to me. We had a time frame we had to work in so I waited. About a week prior to our open date I contacted looking for the quote and their time frame. It was looked over. The owner called me back giving me an adequate quote. We agreed and planned the day of service. They came did what they were supposed to do what any electrician that you picked out of the phone book would do and stated they would send an invoice. When I received the invoice it was over double what was originally quoted. They charged me double the time that they actually worked and added overtime! When the invoice was sent it was just one total. I asked for a breakdown and that's when the overtime total was given to me. They stated that's what the electricians wrote down. This seems like a total scam to me. I am all about paying for a service but talk about taking advantage. At this point it's their word that they worked so many hours and exactly what they did. My fault for not getting a total and complete breakdown in writing prior to the service but I took their word. I am just writing this to make people aware if they are dealing with them in the future. Again our electric works but honestly you can call any electrician in the phone book and get the same service and I am sure their are honest individuals out there where you will end up paying what you were told. This was not a small amount and most definitely something to complain about. Please beware there are two many options out there.
