Great area with nice campsites and firepits with grill grates. Have clean bathrooms, running well water, ice and firewood sold onsite. Had a great time walking to the beach and enjoying the outdoors with friends.
BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL PLACEud83dudc9cud83dudc9cud83dudc9cnworth the drive, just make sure if you go to the free camp site you go as early as possible to make sure you have a spot. Anyone with small cars, the roads are VERY VERY bumpy and deep big pot holes... it's a dirt roadud83dudc9c
Nice scenery.but trees a little high to get a nice lakeview from the over look.
We've been here twice in the last year. Love the campgrounds. Easy access to hiking and the beach on lake Michigan. Great host! We will be back, hopefully many times! Clean and quiet.
Amazing camping spot. Highly recommend bug spray because there are plenty of Russian mosquitos. There is no shower, your only shower is Lake Michigan. Other than that a lot of outdoor activities available.
