My friend and I stayed at Kampvilla this past weekend at neighboring sites. The owner, Becky, was super friendly and helpful. Her staff was also very kind when we asked questions. Sites decent size and easy to access. Although too late in the season to take advantage of the pool, it would be nice in the summer. They have lots of games available in the pavilion area as well as shuffleboard, horseshoes, basketball, volleyball and a large playground. We’re going back next weekend with additional friends/sites and looking forward to it! Fall colors are beautiful. Also we interacted with a few fellow campers on their walks with their dogs and all were nice (many seasonal campers here). We will definitely book here next summer due the friendliness/helpfulness of staff. That makes such a HUGE difference in our decision making!

We stayed at Kampvilla for three nights on our trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes NP. Owners are very kind and helpful, full of care and joy. They certainly have a knack for making first time RV campers like us feel welcome, and for knowing just when to offer a helping hand. The grounds and community facilities are immaculately maintained and beautiful in their own right. Our young boys really enjoyed the play areas, and our family of city kids will ALWAYS remember laying down on the shuffleboard court under an ink black sky and billions of stars to watch the Perseid meteor shower. A-ma-zing.

We have camped at Kampvilla for over 25 years. We love the relaxed feeling and the wonderful staff. Ken and Becky are hands on owners always available to help with their guest accommodations and needs. Their employees are friendly and helpful. When I give them a 5 star, it is to low, it should be a ten!! Thank you again for the patience and relaxing couple of weeks. See you soon!

My son who is 17 was working for them 6 days a week this last June July and most of August ,got fired for wanting 2 days off a week ...which I as his mother wanted him to have 2 days off for getting ready for school.and he worked there last year w no problems. long story short I called the owners and Ken hung up on me, I called the camp grounds and talked to his wife and talked but all they both kept saying was he only works 5 1/2hrs a day ,6 days a week and if he didnt didn't show up Sunday he would not have a job and that they are the bosses and make the schedule, Not me and he then hung up on me...i take that as a threat to my 17 yr old who's still in school and can only work a maximum of 32 hrs a week.
