A little dated but family run. Inga stayed up late for my arrival and had treats for our dog. Tent camping was $21.50, the quarters change came in handy for the showers.... 1 quarter should be enough for a long hot shower, just follow the directions on the wall. Place was clean, showers were hot, owners were friendly. The road (2) is kinda busy for tent camping, ask for a spot as far back as you can as the trees don't screen the noise as much as they think but otherwise great for RVs and such.

Came in during the evening in a snowstorm and they were very accommodating. Inga was as nice as she could be and very helpful. Sites are large and grassy good roads to get to your site during a snowstorm. Clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this campground.

Honestly, the place is falling apart. But it's the only year round place in this area, and I know they'll have spots open whenever we come. Hope you have your own bathroom! Theirs is kinda creepy. And they charge for showers. They also tried to give us a cheap little adapter plug that would have us running 30a on a 15a outlet, even though I said several times that we need 30a. They didn't want to snow plow a site for us I think. We shoveled our own site bc the other option they gave us was to park in the main roadway thru the campground instead of in a site. The old lady is nice but can't run a place like this on her own, and I'm guessing they don't have the funds for staff, maintenance, or upgrades. Last time I had to stay here, I was the only one here for a week, and the trash bins were overflowing the whole week. Side note: she only takes cash or check, no cards.

This campground was located in a good place for our UP tour. The sites were large, level and grassy. However, that's the only positive. It was old and run down. The picnic table was not usable. We were told in advance of coming that we'd have 30 amp service and wifi. We did have 30 amp service but upon check-in were told not to use air conditioning as it may cause a power outage. So, sunny days on a camper in an open field made for a hot camper. And the wifi was so spotty that we couldn't even use it. The garbage area was filled to overflowing. The dump station was a bit awkwardly located. We had a wonderful vacation but only because we didn't use the campground for anything but a place to park our camper and sleep.

Great for an overnight stay. Some cool stuff to do, Waterfalls and Copper Peak, nearby. The owner is awesome and a pleasure to work with
