Plenty of space and trees between sites. But even the back of the campground is still too close to the road, the noise of cars can be heard.nI visited during the winter and had the place to myself. A few of the sites have views and access to the river
We having been camping at VMS forever 40 years. It is a go to rustic camping. Perfect put in point for Upper Platte River. I must be getting old because my only complaint is traffic noise. It is a more in recent years.
No water! Toilets not very clean. We are still in a pandemic water to wash hands would be nice.
Quiet place in the Northwoods. Plenty of space between campsites for privacy
Good location for fishing!
