My family and I enjoyed our stay immensely! The campground was clean, the showers were hot, the bathrooms were centrally located and well maintained. They have a pool and play area that I forgot to take pictures of but my daughter enjoyed the playground, it was too cold to swim while we stayed although the pool was open and heated. The owners were nothing but nice to us and made sure we had a pleasant stay. I also really liked how strict they are about the 10pm quiet time as that was a big reason I chose to stay here. Overall I would definitely recommend this campground and if I come back to this area will be staying here again!

I made a reservation 5 days before our trip to visit the surrounding lakes. We ended up breaking down about 10 miles from our trailer and weren’t able to make it back in time to check in and set up camp for the night. Tried calling this place a few times around 6-7pm with no answer (called on my friends phone since my phone died) as a courtesy that we will not be able to make it and understand we will be charged. I was finally connected the following day and the woman yelled at me and said we didn’t cancel within 7 days and that we would be charged (I didn’t care if I was charged). She couldn’t comprehend that I was just calling as a courtesy to open our lot back up for others since we had to drive 3 hours home after getting our boat back to the trailer. Normally I don’t write reviews, but this place was extremely unprofessional. I didn’t appreciate being yelled at by someone who was too worried about the fee I could care less about. I will never try to book here again. I can see why this was the only place with availability.nnEdit: like I said I called as a courtesy and was scolded by the lady I spoke to. I’m not sure who would stay on a line with someone who wouldn’t let them get a word in and was yelling at them for trying to call as a courtesy. A little professionalism and a simple “thank you” could go a long way for your staff.

For the price this campground was great nicely shaded with trees and also a short drive to the lake. The sites are not the biggest but the value is there for the price your paying. There is allot of dirt but it’s camping.. Otherwise the owners are very nice and we’re upfront about trying to update stuff but covid happened and it’s just going to have to wait totally understandable and I plan on camping there again with my family and friends
