Food was FANTASTIC. Staff was very friendly. Loved that most was vegetarian, but they need more vegan. Wish they did not give out plastic utensils (Hence, the four stars). Will definitely go back. Good spot!

From a design and aesthetic experience alone I give Chase's Daily five stars. It's still one of the places I think about most from our fall 2019 trip to Maine. Belfast was just a charming town, and Chase's Daily seemed to be the lunchtime gathering spot for an interesting mix of folks who call it home–college-age young people, architects from down the street, older gentleman discussing the news of the day, artists, local farmers, etc. There was a farmers' market in the back that perfectly captured the color palette of early November in New England and art by local artist handing on the wall. I even found paperwhite bulbs there that I brought with me back home.The salad and pizza we ordered were incredible and made of much of the same produce for sale in the back of the shop. Not pictured are some pastries we ordered for dessert.

Very cute spot to pop in and pick up breakfast or lunch! We stopped in Belfast on our way from Bar Harbor to Portland. They also sell fresh produce and flowers. Highly recommend for a quick and healthy bite. There is outdoor seating in the back to enjoy your meal

A friend and I were able to carry on our summer tradition of having lunch at Chase's because they have set up outdoor dining.nThe menu seems a little more limited, but available choices we made were the usual delicious.nSo good that I went there for lunch twice in one week.nIn regard to C-19, they are doing everything possible to make it a safe, healthy environment.nSame friendly, gracious staff.

What a thoughtful, authentic, and conscientious spot! We returned many times here during our week’s stay in Belfast—delicious and fresh vegetarian food, fantastic baked goods and solid coffee, beautiful produce and fresh flowers. They handled masks and social distancing with outdoor seating very well. Wish we could be regulars here!
