Satori Belfast

Really good sushi, wish the rolls were a little bigger for the price :))

The food was sublime, and artisan packaged (curbside). I found a spot perched overlooking the river and had heavenly satori in the form a tuna hand roll with wasabi soy dipping sauce - then washed with soft pearly sake and balanced out with the tonkotsu ramen with a brothy beautiful mouthfeel with gorgeous pork belly medallions - and some clean pickled ginger to finish. It WAS an enlightenment of a feeling coupled with the sunshine on a first truly summer tshirt wearing day of 2021 in midcoast.nnI have known Wind for many years as a mixologist in the Rockland area and I had been privy to his excitement to open Satori a few years back . I was really wanting to see what he was up to and finally had a moment to get up to Belfast. I know how well he knows restaurants with a lifetime of service all over midcoast and I knew his first venture would be top notch and that It was. So sweet to see him in it with his wife and daughter too - family style.nnBeing covid I wasnt able to go inside which looked lavish and hip through the window - but the building is beautiful an old elaborate stone mansard roof set up similar to a flat iron building on a triangle plot which has a whole vibe in itself which will make for a fun date night or celebratory evening I’m sure.nnIt was a beautiful meal and moment ill be back soon. Best sushi in or near Belfast! Also the Boba tea is AMAZING!

So delicious! The bahn mi bao with shrimp tempura was incredibly delicious! Also the tonkotsu ramen took me back to the best ramen I ever had...in Tokyo 1989. Great addition to Belfast!
