Our first time on these trails. They are in great condition. Fallen trees had been cleared away. The trails are clearly marked with blazes.nnThe trail that maps takes you to is a short trail, about 1 mile. My kids loved climbing on the many boulders shopping the trail.nnIf you drive another half mile, you can find the trail head for the Witt's End Trail. This is obviously the more traveled trail ... You can see that just by comparing the boardwalks on the two trails.nnThese trails are not particularly strenuous. My five year old daughter was able to easily hike both. The trails are not really appropriate if you have any mobility troubles. They are in great shape, but there are plenty of rocks, roots, and mud that would make things difficult if you have any handicap.
Very nice beginner hike with small rolling hills. Well maintained wooded trails with an amazing amount of foot bridges to get past wet areas.
1st time hiking this trail. Excellent in-town location, and great trail smells for my pet April...
Very cool trail. I loved the wooden planks and the way the trails were maintained. Very very cool.
This place is AMAZING! Moss, lichens, lycopods, ferns, etc. Nice, well-marked trails. Make sure to wear bug spray or long sleeves/pants.
