I went from Shephard's Farm into Witt Swamp and followed the black and white arrows. About 4.5 to 5 miles. It was a little confusing in that the names on the signs didn't always line up with the names on the map. For example there are signs that say Half Witt Trail but nothing on the maps say that. The trails were clear and wide. The snow is packed down pretty hard which made a few spots a little bit slippery. I had stabilicers in my pack but it wasn't really bas enough to put them on. Lots of signs of wildlife! My dog kept very busy sniffing prints in the snow. Giganic, fun animal sculptures at Shepard's Farm.
Great sledding hills. Be prepared to park on the street on weekends and holidays
Wow! Really liked this Preserve. Great hiking and I want to come back with my bike. Awesome 'boardwalks! Kudos to the crew that put that in.
Always a great place to go for a quiet walk.
Amazing well kept trails. Easy for even the not so in shape. Such a great family trail. Bring some bugspray..water...and a small donation as its truly worth it.
