Was looking forward to trying this place because of the hype and good reviews but unfortunately the food was super dry and bland. I had the pulled chicken and brisket with beans and mac n cheese & honestly the only item that had any taste was the brisket and it wasn't much. Hopefully just went on a bad day.

Oh my lanta. Breaking my much anticipated review silence for this. I’ve had barbecue in Dallas. Big fan of pulled pork and brisket. This place serves what is hands down the best pulled pork sandwich I’ve eaten. Large portions of good meat and ample sides for a great price. If you’re coming through Maine on route 2 you are required to eat here. Baked beans and corn bread were excellent. Sampled the brisket and links from a friend, also very good.
While on a multi-state trip, we rode by on our motorcycles and almost didn’t see it. But the wonderful aroma got our attention so we pulled a u-turn. Wow! Well worth the stop. Some of the best Q I’ve had. The brisket was out of this world. If you’re anywhere within 25 miles, stop by. You won’t be disappointed.
Love this little spot...we always stop in when in the area. The bbq is solid, and the sides are just different enough from traditional to make them unique. Prices are so reasonable and they hook you up with big portions (beware meat coma). Try the spicy smoked cashews :)
