We had wanted to take a sailing in Maine for quite some time so after checking out reviews, we settled for this one. The pier is nondescript and located among several bars on the waterfront, but it was quite easy to locate. We booked online and arrived 20 minutes early. Check in was a breeze at a small shack and we were loaded up on the boat right on time. The skipper gave the obligatory safety spiel and we were off. We were lucky to have good winds so we tacked up the bay to squirrel island. The views and commentary were excellent along the way. Eventually the wind died so we had to motor the rest of the trip around some islands. We saw porpoises, seals and birds along the way. We got back on time. It was a solid experience and the lack of complimentary peanuts had no effect on our enjoyment. We brought some cheese and crackers and enjoyed them along the trip.

Amazing first time on a sail boat! Captain Joe made this experience terrific, you get to learn about the area without getting your ear talked off. Perfect for couples and families with older kids. Relaxing cruise around the area. I would absolutely go again and recommend.

A beautiful afternoon adventure with my wonderful fiance. The Captain and Crew were very hospitable and friendly. I would definitely recommend this trip for anyone who enjoys the ocean.

Beautiful sunset sailing trip out of boothbay last night. Sea's were perfect & the captain and first mate made the trip entertaining and informative.

What a fantastic way to relax and tour the Boothbay area. Family and friends took this great cruise with Captain Bob and First Mate Michael (Captain Joe and his beloved dog Dexter minded the ticket booth). While my friends in VT were cooking in the heat I was out sailing in Maine with a real nice breeze (Take a light jacket along). We got to see many historic light houses and great island scenery. With the amount of Lobster boats and other cruise boats all rushing around - none of them seemed as comfortable as we were. We learned quite a bit of history and even were blessed with an appearance from a Harbor Seal. Myself and everyone aboard plan on doing this again on our next visit- Highly Recommended ! Don't hesitate to relax for two hours - it's what life is all about.
