If I could give them an extra star I would! Aside from the wonderful staff and the location, this is simply the most authentic and delicious Mediterranean flavor I have experienced outside of the actual Mediterranean. Service was quick and attentive and the view is priceless. We have a very picky eater and all he could talk about how he wished he had more to eat (not that the portions are small). Added bonus is that we were able to bring our furry children with us to dinner :-)

Wanted to try it for the first time because I was hearing good reviews about the food and the menu looked good and finally something different. Ordered the mussels and they were tiny about dime sized compared to your normal mussels, as well as very few for what you pay and very bland. Ordered the falafel as well which was a huge disappointment, very bitter, under seasoned and over cooked on the outside yet the chickpeas were raw and not well grounded hence the bitterness. Yuck. Hopefully you can work on your menu as it is a great menu just very poor excecution. Always like to give new buisnesses a 2nd chance.

The most authentic and flavorful Mediterranean food I've had in a long time. The hummus, falafel and grape leaves alone are worth the trip. Add in sushi made to order from a master and there's no reason you shouldn't try Taka.

Found this place right on the harbor while walking around with our dog. Taka is extremely dog friendly as we were able to bring her in and sit outside on the deck. They even brought her out a giant water bowl. Food and drinks were amazing while overlooking the harbor and listening to live music. We got the blueberry cucumber smash, falafel, gyro and fish sandwich.
