What a joy! Everything about this lobster stand was delightful, but especially the proprietors (whose names I'm sorry to say I didn't catch). Note - they actually close at 5, not 7 as Google lists. We arrived just a few minutes after 5 on our last night in Maine and they were happy to squeeze us in before closing up shop for the night. I had never eaten lobster before, and they helped my sister and I figure out what size to get to share. When we were headed out, they mentioned that we had left behind the best lobster parts (knuckles and legs), which we had no idea about. They were kind enough to give us an excellent lesson in getting the good stuff and answered all our lobstery questions. Just amazingly friendly. 10/10, these are the friendliest lobster experts in town! I am so glad we stopped by.nnOur lobsters were caught this morning and super fresh (although I have no point of reference since it was my first lobster) and served with butter. There are about 6 or 7 picnic tables all spread out, it was a very nice setup!

My wife and I were on our honey moon and this was the best lobster gig near Bar Harbor. The two ladies working it were amazing and even let us eat shortly after closing time. By far the best price around for 2 lobsters and 1lb each of mussels and clams! Definitely going back before we leave!

Incredible value. 2 lobsters (the best I've personally ever had) with mussels for less than $40. Family owned and relaxed vibe with a winery next door if you want booze otherwise bring a couple bucks for the soda machine. STOP HERE AND HAVE NO REGRETS!

Ordered the largest 2 person lobster and mussels available, 1-3/4” lobsters with mussels. Very good food and good service with no frills. Family owned and great! You have to eat outside or take it to go. I wish they had some sides to choose from but it was a good value for good fresh lobster.

A wonderful, family run lobster pound! We have come here for several years, and find that the atmosphere and prices, with the quality of their lobsters is much better than expected. If they did Not have good lobsters, I would not have returned again and again.
