The third place I lived in my life was for the summer of 1974 after my mom left my Dad, it was gorgeous place to be then.

Enjoying this campground Mid-September. 0nly a few miles to Acadia National Park, $40/night with water and electric (dump station available), ocean view, dog walk area, pool, clean bath houses and laundry room $1/wash. Cash or check no credit cards. WiFi reaches our site in K loop. Open and wooded sites available. Would definitely return!

Bar Harbor Campground is a great place to stay in Bar Harbor.nnLOCATION: 15 minute drive to downtown Bar Harbor. About 7 minutes to Hulls Cove entrance to Acadia. Water view campsites are limited, however there is a lovely pool with great views at the top of the campground.nnSTAFF: Everyone we met was very nice, from the check in people to the gentleman that scoops out your campfire ash, we felt welcome.nnBATHROOMS: Very clean and well maintained. Always soap and paper towels in the proper places. Showers were also exceptionally clean and HOT!nnOverall a very nice experience and would certainly come back again.

Loved every moment I had here. Spent 10 amazing days here and had probably the best camping trip in my life. The first come first serve makes it easy to grab a spot. Clean showers, good laundry and helpful staff. Our truck had a mishap and Craig the campground’s Owner was beyond helpful. I can’t wait to come back.

Great stay. We were lucky enough to find a full hook-up spot right away, although it was only 30 amps. No issues as we didn’t need both AC units at this time of year. The place can fill up fast. I’d recommend getting there before noon to get a spot.nThe campground is very clean and the workers are overly friendly. They even come and sweep away your fire ashes every morning. We paid $43/night. If you stay 6 nights, the 7th is free.nMainely Meat BBQ is within walking distance. The blueberry pancakes and BBQ are to die for.nOnly con for this campground is we didn’t have a view of the water, as most sites do not.
