Papa John's Pizza

I really like this location compared to other Papa John's in Fort Wayne. They do a great job on my orders and in the rare case of an error, they are quick to resolve any issue. I really like how each time I visit, someone grabs the door for me on the way out. It is little things like that that show the staff wants to go above and beyond for customers and will keep me coming back.

The pizza is consistently good. I wouldn’t call it great pizza, but you’re never really going to get great pizza through a chain. With the right coupons and specials though, it’s good quality for the price.nnWe order online and pick up and are always amazed at how fast they get our order ready. Never had an issue with the order being incorrect, even with some of the special instructions we give from time to time.nnWorkers have always been polite and friendly.nnCan’t really comment on their delivery as we haven’t had pizza delivered in years.

Placed my order via web for delivery. Order arrived on time; delivery driver was pleasant. My order was missing sauces I had paid for. I phoned the store and spoke with “James” who claimed to be “one of the managers.” He offered no apology for the mistake. He stated he could have the missing items sent back out to me. I said that was not really helpful as my family would end up eating cold food by the time it arrived. His response was “Well, that is how we typically handle these matters so what would you suggest I do?” Really?! I stated, “A refund for the missing items would be appropriate. But an apology would have been more appreciated, not to mention appropriate.” He actually had the audacity to say that he was “really busy in the middle of a rush right now.” That was his excuse for not even bothering to apologize for THEIR mistake. I told him that being busy was not an excuse for a lack of common courtesy, nor was it an excuse for poor customer service, especially from a manager.n*****His response was to hang up on me!*****nWe have ordered from this location 4 times in the last 10 days. Next time we will just stick with Pizza Hut.

Ordered a pizza tonight. Spent 30 dollars and the pizza crust tasted like it had a cleaner or sanitizer in it. Manager on duty was rude when my husband called and said that they don’t clean during the day so it shouldn’t! Said she wasn’t suppose to do this but she’d give us a pizza next time we order with our phone number! Seemed that my husband was an inconvenience to her. A free pizza next time isn’t a fix, I now have no dinner and have to throw a pizza away that would have lasted at least two nights. I normally wouldn’t rate or even make such a big deal but it tastes like cleaner! I still have a weird taste in my mouth over a half n hour later. I really don’t have any plans to order from here again in the foreseeable future.
