Gardo's Italian Oven

I enjoy pizza quite a bit, so whenever there's an opportunity to try a different place I jump on it. The pizza had a great flavor and I wasn't plagued with indigestion afterwards. If I'm ever in Evansville again I'd like to come back and have it again. It's fun finding small businesses like this, that make you remember tastes and smells from your childhood. It may not be the best I've ever had but it hit home in many ways. Thanks ladies and keep up the good work.

Pizza was real good the owner delivered it and he even went out of his way to help me get the drinks I wanted. I have COPD and it was a good walk to the store for me then with putting on a mask just to go in it would have killed me. I already fight to breath thanks your a real stand up guy in my book if I get around here again I will order from you and tell other truckers too

Just had Gardos for the first time. It was really good but could have had more sausage on the pizza. Also had a stromboli and it was also really good but needed more sauce. All in all I will eat there again.

A sign by door said not to come in and to order from the car. So we got the number and called them to order a sandwich from the parking lot (while watching people come in and out of the shop). The sandwich was said to take 30 minutes... for a sandwich... and it is not like they were very busy, so that's ridiculous. It was Sunday, so we expected to have the special $1 off like it said on the website but nope. They said they couldn't do that because of covid, like that's a real reason not to do specials. The food was a 3 star, the service was a 2 star, but how they run a business is a 1 star.

Really close and only few places deliver here. Pizza was okay. Got the gladiator pizza with extra sauce and usually has alot of toppings and flavor and disappointed on both this time. It was a busy Fri so delivery was over 1hr 45 minutes. I hated to complain about anything but it usually is worth the price and wait if there's plenty toppings and flavor. Also, no extra sauce? Hopefully, it will be next time. I want to support local and not wanting to go to the pizza chains.
