Lots of nice hiking trails.
Great place to hike and camp. The lake is awesome!
Did an overnight hammock trip. 5 miles each way from the Grubb ridge parking lot. Trails weren't perfect because they allow horses so be prepared for mud. The pine stands planted in the WPA era were beautiful. The lake was breathtaking and the blow downs were shocking to behold.
During the winter parking is great. Because you don't have as many people hiking. However, once it warms up the parking is insane. If you get there early enough (8am-11am) you will most likely have a spot. After that people start parking on the side of the road. Great trails though!
Me an family out for beautiful drive thru the country it just doesn't get much prettier than here in this part of the state
