Hazel’s is a hidden gem! It is located near family and I make a point to stop in for lunch or dinner whenever I can. Their nachos are sandwiches are so unique and delicious!!
Hazel's had amazing food for a quick dessert treat and coffee. The service was quick, with a taste for chocolate.
A crown jewel of Oregon, IL! Incredible house made quiche, muffins, breakfast bowls, vegan options, high quality coffees, superior service. Candace was superb and Covid regulations were well in place. As a kitchen manager and foodie, I was blown away by this cafe in Ogle County. I'd visit regularly if I didn't reside in the PNW, but I'll visit it whenever I'm in town. They deserve steady business and infinite community support. Well done!!
A bit pricey for chocolates but bought some any way but were not yummy as they looked unfortunately. The coffee wasn't Starbucks quality at any means but was good. A young lady that worked there was a bit rude and that gave me a bad experience for any future visits. I like to feel welcomed and comfortable at a coffee shop. I will give them another try in a few months and hope they are more welcoming.
The food was good. What was not good was that neither of the staff were wearing masks despite there being signs on the door saying masks required. If I hadn't already ordered by phone, I would have walked out. Because I had ordered (even though I hadn't paid), I didn't want to stick a small business with 4 sandwiches.
