They just added a sushi bar, looks amazing. They also have a full assortment of Mediterranean meats and delicacies. Delicious!
I have loved this place for the 30 plus years we've been shopping there. The selection is outstanding. Cost on fruits and veggies is quite competitive and quality is high. The selection of kosher wines is also outstanding. No, their prices aren't always the best but it is truly a shomer Shabbat store and not a chain store that can subsidize prices plus having to turn over the store for Pesach is a really big deal. It is a real asset to our community.nWe have since moved to West Hartford. Oh, how we miss Hungarian! Especially just before Pesach!
Great variety of produce, meats, poultry, fish.nKosher & non. Sushi bar and kosher dietary items. Courteous staff & cleanly kept.
Cashier was a young woman who was extremely disrespectful and rude. Turned her back on me and ignored me at the register. I said thank you, I appreciate it when she gave me my receipt and she just turned away from me again to talk to someone and never said a word to me. I understand some people may have not been tought proper manners but something tells me she was prejudice because I wasn't jewish. I've lived here for 30 years and never have I been to a store where someone was purposely trying to be rude like her.
Wonderful new set up with great produce and prepared foods. What a great surprise. Becoming a great store anyone would be proud to go to instead of an old kosher grocery.
