Heard about this coffee on the Happy Rant podcast & thought I would give it a try. Took about 5 business days to receive, which was expected. This is GREAT HIGH QUALITY coffee. For me, I'm kind of a coffee nerd. Love experimenting with different brew methods (french press, aeropress, chemex, etc). Brewed my first cup in my chemex this morning after grinding the beans in my burr grinder & the TASTE is top notch. I purchased the Ethiopian blend, so the fruity notes were very defined. The roast was just right. I will definitely be ordering often in the future. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
We got a bunch of your coffee overseas on our deployment.nnIm sorry, but the Costa Rica roast is no bueno! The grind is too coarse for drip and aeropress coffee. The fruit notes are too much for us! I even ground your coffee further using my JavaPresse, and we still didn’t care for it in the aeropress. I hope that The Tempest or Brazilian Honey are better.nnUpdate: Well, we tried the Tempest and the Brazilian Honey. We like the Brazilian Honey the most. Please grind your coffee more fine.
