Let's get this out of the way. The pies are good here. They have a very good selection of fruit and cream pies, the filing is not over sweetened gel that many a pie succumb to and the crust is as close to that one perfect pie at my Gramma's that I had years ago as I've ever had.nThe rest of the menu doesn't disappoint, at least the variety of items we selected. Good home style cooked American fare. No one will go hungry with these servings either.

What a great place to stop and eat.nSaw the sign off the highway and pulled in for lunch. Service was great. The portion sizes are very generous.nCASH OR CHECK ONLY but they have an ATM as well.nLunch menu was very affordable.nFried chicken, mash potatoes and green beans were the very best. Lemon pie was delicious and the crust very flaky.nOverall fantastic experience.

5 stars all around. Exceptional customer service. Delightful food, GREAT prices, and an awesome atmosphere. But, good luck leaving room for dessert with the portions provided. 100% recommend.

Blue Springs Cafe, is one of the few places I always make an attempt to drive too while over the road as a truck driver. They have the BEST Meringue pie‘s, They are known for their “Mile High Pie’s” . They also have the best tasting vinegar-based coleslaw I’ve ever tasted. Each time I get a load going through Highland Illinois, I always make it a point if it’s in or near my route so I can stop and go there.nIT IS SOOO WELL WORTH IT !!!

The service was really great! Our server was so sweet. I was able to watch the servers and they were all hard working and friendly. The food was good, but served family style so the only side my daughter ate was green beans.
