Bentonsport Campground

Was a great place along the Des Moines river. Quiet camp ground, during the week we were the only camper in the park.

Very pretty grounds. Scenic river views and the quiet of the villages of Van Buren County. Shopping at the historic shops in Betonsport. Lots to see and do in easy walking distance. Limited nightlife.

Lovely little campground on the banks of the river. Basically it's electric only, but one can hook up to water at certain sites, using a splitter. No dump station. But really pretty and peaceful. Close to the tiny town of Bentonsport which has many interesting stores and museums. A lovely place to get away.
