Summit Campground

Summit Campground is part of West Lake Park. It is run by the city of Davenport Iowa. There are a large number of sites available on a first come, first serve basis.nnThe sites in the Summit section have water and electric hook-ups. There is a dump station in the campground. There is another campground in the park that has full hook-ups.nnThere is no wifi or cable service. Verizon coverage is usable, but not very strong. AT&T coverage is adequate for any use.nnThe park is well laid out, and well maintained! There is a campground host on site for questions and assistance. There are two playgrounds in the Summit area for children.nnIt is not far off I-280 and easy to find. In 2020, the daily rate for the campground was $22 per night.

Very nice, clean, reasonably priced campground. First come, first served policy makes this a great get away through the week.

Love it!! This campground along with West lake gate 5 is maintained by Scott County. Not the City of Davenport.
