Where do I start. I love that there are actual Mexican people running an Mexican establishment. It was the only restaurant whose kitchen was still open 9:30-10:00 on a Saturday night, so we thought to give it a try. We were seated immediately, and had a very pleasant, cool waiter. The drinks were filled with alcohol, so I only needed one drink to be set for the night, which is a plus. The food? IMMACULATE ! The menu prices are perfectly matched to the dish, because my plate was filled with lots of food. I cannot wait to go back again 10 out of 5 stars ! Highly recommended.
So I went to this restaurant the other night my first Time with a friend we walked in and there was nobody at the table to seat us we were waiting for about 10 minutes until Somebody came behind us and hit the bell finally five minutes later a rude looking waiter came over and said sit down someone will be here and walked away.. Also we finally sat down at the bar area I had a very nice server he was friendly attentive and made our drinks fantastic unfortunately I wasn’t too fond of the food.. having a great waiter unlike the rude one that told me to sit down made a better experience.
Update: 2 years later. Down from 4 stars to 3 stars.nnPros: Good food, good drinks, large portions, good for dining in.nnCons: Expensive. Not worth it for delivery as food is never warm enough and kitchen is always backed up so your food will be delivered much later than expected.nnNo idea how they've been during the pandemic, didn't go inside and ordered delivery once.
If zero stars was an option, they would get negative 1. NO social distancing standards seem to be in place here. Everyone is on top of each other waiting to be seated, and the restaurant is at FULL CAPACITY, and they still kept taking people. Placed and order online (4 ITEMS!!!) Original wait time was “45 minutes”. Understandable for a Saturday night. BUT when I went to pick it up a hour later, I was told to wait another 30 minutes. When I asked for a reason why my wait time was almost doubled the “manager” Juan Dominguez, said “oh we’re busy and there’s nothing I can do”. I would of appreciated a better response provided with a solution, not just a quick response.. and then he WALKED away from me. Unprofessional. If you have an online order system it should be accurate. The refund policy is TERRIBLE!! I don’t recommend.
Been here a dozen times and always enjoyed ourselves but tonight was awful. Service was unattentive and terrible (I'm a waitress myself so I'm usually pretty forgiving but it was just terrible. It wasn't busy at all and he had an overwhelming amount of support staff working with him so no excuse). Guacamole was terrible but we let that go (literally sticks of cilantro and massive chunks of vegetables included - just clearly zero effort was put into the preparation). My mom's meal was uncooked (enchiladas with literally cold unmelted cheese inside). Complained to the manager who did nothing. Took server 15 minutes to come over and ask how our food was. At that point I was done eating so we sent the food away and asked for the bill. Server gave us a half hearted apology and basically said it was my mom's fault that she didn't enjoy her (uncooked) food. Her entree was neither taken off the bill or reduced in price. Extremely disappointed. We've been here a ton of times and now I'm not sure if/when we will be back.
