Save A Lot

I frequent this store. The prices are always affordable. You will need a quarter for a cart. You get it back if you bring the cart back.nThe food is usually fresh. I have not received anything with a bad expiration date.nThe staff are overworked but very helpful, kind and hardworking.

Reasonable prices. Convenient. Located in my neighborhood, where there are no big supermarkets. Friendly cashier.

This is what's acceptable to Save-a-lot Food Store in Hartford at 2:10 on a Monday afternoon. I went in to get some cilantro and there was non to be found. This is about what I found the last time I was there about a month ago to look for t-bones that were supposed to ne on sale but the meat case was empty then too. I vowed to not go back but I tried it again since I was close by. Is this what Save-a-lot has turned into? If anyone is giving them above 3 stars, it's because it's an employee or friend/family of an employee.

Overall a pretty good shopping experience. As compared to other grocery stores in the Hartford area the place Is pretty clean, well stocked with the items they carry and the customer service is usually adequate.

The people that work here are great! Only a four star sue to them alway running out of the things I may need.
