Great park! Good jungle gym for the kids and adults alike. Good beach area. Can be kind of dirty at times but overall no less than you'd expect from any other public park. The walking trail is the real gem here.

Nice little park. The fishing piers are a short walk from the parking area, which can be inconvenient if you were bringing a lot of stuff. The piers say they have fish attractants beneath them, but when I went with a friend we had no luck after being out there for a few hours.
Beautiful place and the kids love playing and swimming there. We haven't fished there but others do
Thanks Alabama Power. For fixing a place for everyone to enjoy. We have a great time when we go there is about eight of us We have been helping pick up so y'all will keep it open. Please everyone help keep our park clean. I have a one year old grandson i want him to enjoy the park when we take him out there. There was a lot of little children having the time of there lifes out there. So lets all pitch in and help keep it clean for them.
