I have had an account with Regions for over 20 years. I have always written checks for cash from this account. I have always had a positive experience with Regions, at the Talladega branch and other branches in the state.nI will be closing this account.nnI wrote a check for $200 cash. I was asked today and one other time this month, by one particular teller, to sign the back of a check to verify who I am. Verify who I am?nIt's MY checking account. I signed the front of the check. Is that not verification enough? My account, my signature?nnFirst, after the teller I'm referring to, got her supervisor, the supervisor informs me that it's federal regulations.nThen she backed up and said that it was because the teller didn't know who I was. I do NOT know any of the tellers at Regions personally.nnI was becoming impatient while sitting in my vehicle, I snapped my fingers, stated to her that I wanted my money and I needed to go. I was late and I needed to get my children.nThe supervisor told me I needed to stop snapping my fingers.nnApparently, Regions needs to train tellers to be respectful and more knowledgeable.nThis is why I am closing my account. I have no time for nonsense and ignorance.
