Early morning is the best time for spotting wildlife on the trail. Snakes are drowsy still so they are more likely to be visible. Later in the season they react quicker and usually hide. A sturdy walking sticks a good idea as is your dog. They need exercise too.

I always have an awesome time when I come here. Here's a fun fact. The very first wave pool in the country is here. It also has multiple slides, tunnel slides, a lazy river and many many more fun exciting things for the entire family from pawpaw to the little boy and girl.

We golfed at the Point Mallard Golf course and had a great time! The grass was still winter dormant but the course was in good shape.

My girls and I visit the driving range here once a week. Love this park.
