This place used to be a great place to go and relax, bring your dog, swim, etc.nNot anymore!!nNow they have some rent-a-cop patrolling the area, messing with everyone and corralling everyone inside an imaginary area marked by a stick. A stick that would be unnoticeable if it weren’t for the fact that the rent-a-cop comes by every 15 minutes to make sure no one goes past it.nWhat a great idea! Let’s crowd everyone together during a pandemic! Way to go.nAbsolute trash!

Definitely in need of trash receptacles since people apparently can't be bothered to take their trash with them, but otherwise this is a quaint little nearby area to kayak and wade around in the water with our dogs.

I love it here. It's always beautiful (when there's not trash) and the water is always cold/cool and refreshing. Definitely a good place to go if you just wanna have a water day. No big fish, I've never seen snakes, and the water doesn't get super deep except in the middle, so its also great to bring your kids. One thing I will say is when the water is high (after it's rained), the current gets very strong so you need to be careful not to get swept away and keep your kids or anyone who is weak or can't swim well in your sight.
