I will never again dismiss the notion of small town fine dining. The modest facade and casual decor belies the opulence of the menu. While it could be considered a bit pricey for everyday dining, it is well worth the cost. I expected the typical fried pickles when we ordered our appetizer, but we were pleasantly surprised to see lightly battered wedges that were not greasy at all. Two of us had steak and the other two had a burger. My steak and sides were melt in your mouth delicious. After we enjoyed our meal we took time to browse the gift shop and bought a couple candles for a friend. If you’re in the area for a special occasion or you just want a nice dinner out, this should be your first choice.

Food was pretty pricey, I had the Gin Burger. It was good but tasted like you could buy it at a high-school football game. Service was good, the people were nice, but the food could definitely be better to me.

This is the cutest place I’ve seen in a while. It reminded me of something out of a Hallmark movie. The food is fresh and delicious! The smoked wings are amazing. I was there with my family in early December and they had beautiful fresh cut Christmas trees for sale out front. The front porch area is welcoming and the general store area inside has lots of items you won’t find in big box stores. We will definitely go back.

The food, service and atmosphere are all wonderful!nWe ate dinner at The Gin for Valentine's Day, truly an amazing experience. Tonight we returned for their regular menu items. We were not disappointed. A new favorite place.

Excellent service, incredible food and the best little shopping spot around. Great selection of gifts! The dinner menu is phenomenal!
