Moving back here from CA I may be bias towards really authentic Mexican food but here goes. The atmosphere and service was great, but the food seemed really watered down when it came to authentic flavors and spices. If you get the beef tacos or enchiladas don't expect the good spiced shredded beef......it was only ground beef that lacked the good rich flavor of authentic Mexican shredded slow cooked beef. On the flip side the chips were good.
We stopped here on our way to Florida and we’re very happy we stopped. They got us right in to a table and the it was excellent Mexican. We eat a lot of Mexican and I wish this place was around our house, I’d be eating here a lot!
It was very good and the waiter's and waitresses were great food was good and service was good I give monarcas Mexican restaurant a 100 for all thank u my friends
Friendly staff and your average run of the mill Tex Mex
