They falsely advertise that you can get a loan. They will tell you, “Hey if you file your taxes with us, you’re eligible to get an advance of up to this amount of money.” Then, you’re like okay sounds good and actually do your taxes with them only for them to tell you that you aren’t approved (even though you were 2 months ago) that is completely illegal for them to lie just to get you in the door. It’s not okay. If I had the money for a lawyer they would be sued. I could have went somewhere else considering I really need the money. This was my first and LAST year using HR block. They will never get my or my family’s business again. And if I can help it I will steer my friends and associates away from them also. I’m completely disappointed that I even agreed to use them at all.
