Food was very good. Loved the chicken corn chowder and excellent service. Very reasonable prices as well.

Excellent!! LOTS of things to do. I love hiking and camping and just being outside. It was very calm and quiet. The cabin was wonderful. Much bigger than expected! Beautiful views! Also cycling and boating available. We were also pleased that there was fresh wood to burn. The wood stove was really cool, too!

Excellent burger and fries at he lodge. Went fishig in the river and lake. Great day.

We spent the weekend camping at the River RUn Campground (fantastic!) and we had dinner in the dining room of the lodge one night. The food was great, but the service and ambience left much to be desired.nnThe round tables for two are HUGE, and you can easily feel like you are sitting across the room from your dining companion. We moved one chair so that we could sit closer to each other.nnThere was no ambient music in the restaurant, and the silence was deafening. On one hand, you could easily hear your companion speaking; on the other hand, so could everyone else in the restaurant unless you dropped your voice, in which case your companion could no longer hear you.nnOur server seemed completely disinterested in his job. He was prompt and responsive but not overly attentive, and he seemed to be just going through the motions. Our hot appetizer was served at the same time as our entrees, which was after our salads.nnPros: Good food.nnCons: Disinterested service, dull ambience.nnSummary: It was nice to take a night off from cooking at the campsite, but it was an overall weird dining experience.

Food was not at all what we expected; bruschetta had TOO MUCH garlic and barely any tomatoes!!nThe waitress seemed to have no knowledge of the menu, had to return to the kitchen for answers to our questions.nCoffee and desserts were exceptionally tasty.nPrevious visits had been much more satisfying.
