Nice walk, would probably rate moderate in difficulty.nTrees are labeled and wildlife all around. We are going to hike here again in the fall, assuming fall colors would be beautiful.nWish there was more info on people it’s named after!
Trail and parking lot are well cleared at present. One mile loop trail through a variety of forest types. Still some nice fall color.
Nice path in an area that has few public recreation opportunities. The trailhead and parking area need work. Different species of trees are well marked along the trail and, by and large, the trail was in passable condition.
One mile loop close to the house, nice to get out and walk/run without having to travel to far.
Nice little trail but be warned, rattlesnakes are very thick in this area. Always be on the lookout in warm months.
