I love this carniceria. The store is always clean, the aisles are spacious unlike others and staff are always friendly and willing to help!
THE CARNE DISCADA STUNK, I TRIED COOKING THE HECK OUT OF IT AND STILL WAS TERRIBLE, NOT SURE WHAT MARINADE OR SPICES THEY USED BUT ITS NASTY.. MAYBE ITS AN AQUIRED TASTE FOR SOME...NOT ME, WONT BE GOING BACK.. GOOD LUCK TO THEM
Muy ricas carnitas! So one time I was buying loose bollios and I noticed some green fuzzy stuff so I checked all of them and they were all green and fuzzy. Instantly got grossed out and ran for it. This other time I was buying Mission tortillas and they were already passed the sell by date and I notified them but they just told me to buy the ones from the cooler up front. Luckily those weren't green yet. I haven't had any issues with the produce or the meats.
Terrible health code violations!
