Ribs and brisket are just meh! Not too many low carb options other than salad and green beans.
This was the worst food I've had from a restaurant in recent memory. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and it was served completely different than what was on the website. The chicken must have sat for hours and was either overcooked or reheated multiple times. The manager at the Cooper St location said sorry that's not the way we make it at this location. No apology, just cavalier attitude. Coleslaw was tasteless. Fries were fresh and hot. Good fries are easy enough to find. No need to return to Dickeys.
The food here is excellent. We have eaten only pickup orders since COVID-19 hit. They often leave of things on the drive-through orders. At times they have left out pickles and onions, which are normal complimentary consonants. After the 1st time this happened, we made sure to request them. They still leave them out sometimes. Eat-in service had always been excellent, with the added benefit that they had an open self-service condiment bar with picked, onions, jalapenos and a variety of barbecue sauces, and self-service fountain drinks, including sweet and under tea. For the food, this is our favorite barbecue place.
The ribs and chicken was dried out like they were from yesterday. The slice beef sandwich and the sausage was nice and juicy.nI ordered a 3 meat plate around 1:00 in the afternoon. Never had it been that bad before. I have had Uber to deliver a 3 meat plate from there and it more moist and tender than today.
Placed an online order this morning in my credit card which charged. However I received no notifications that the restaurant was closed. It was closed because of the weather but I received no notification that my order would not be filled because no one was coming to the restaurant. Someone should have been monitoring the situation. I am hopeful that I will not have a problem getting my money back. Fortunately I found 2 other favourite restaurants that were open for business today.
