This is the only location that does not automatically offer plastic or foam cups. I love smoothie king specifically because they offer foam cups. Rather than me having to transfer my drink into a container. It’s convent for me due to my hands having a reaction to certain plastics. I tell them everytime I order that I want a foam cup & it’s a hit or miss with them. Sometimes they get it right, sometimes they give me plastic. When I tell them I’m allergic to that particular plastic they always have an attitude when I ask them to change it. That’s my only issue with this location other than that the smoothies are delicious.
We had to re order because they gave us a 32 oz. Instead of a 24 oz.nBut when we got to the door my son's smoothie was foamy rather than thick. Never going back.
The taste of the smoothie I got (pineapple surf) is immaculate but the dang people there. I ordered my two drinks and I pull up to pay. I pay, then I got one of my drinks, they told me to pull up to the front so did just that. I waited for more than 30 minutes so I go in there and they haven't even made my dang drink! Four people got their drinks before me.
Ive had good service when I go there, and consistent beverages, but I don't go more than once every few months. I still think a place like this should be more healthy, most of their drinks have a ton of sugar and carbs. And it's mostly added sugar.
