I made an appt through First American Home Warranty for installation of a new outdoor outlet. i was unaware that I would be charged a service fee as the contractor who came out stated that installing a new outlet was not covered in my warranty.nnHe said he would report back that I was unaware and that I shouldn't be charged anything. First American said the report they received shows that a diagnostic was performed and that was definitely not the case.nnNow I have a $75 service fee that I have to supposedly pay even though the contractor did nothing.

I made an appointment through my home warranty and they chose this company to do the work. I was very skeptical after reading the negative reviews but DFW Electrical Service provided great service. They arrived on time, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. The electrician was friendly and knowledgeable.

I recently had a similar unfavorable experience. I will agree with previous reviews, it is extremely difficult to reach someone at the office and they won't return messages. My technician cancelled by appointment through email at the time he was supposed to be at my house. He didn't attempt to call me, worse yet he didn't even attempt to show up at my house. Then the company lied to my warranty company, telling them they tried to reach me by phone and text several times without me replying. Total waste of my and my wife's time taking time away from our busy work schedule to be waiting for the technician. I will be sure never to use this company in the future.

Caused me problems by not showing or communicating. Everything was fine, they confirmed appointment then day before confirmed a 2 hour window. Day of never showed, never communicated, never answered phone, never returned the message i left asking if they were still coming. This caused me a little extra hardship because I'm a disabled vet and have daily schedule and therapy i was pulled away from as i waited all day hoping theyd come so i didnt have to interfere with a different day.

We made an appointment through our home warranty and this company was suppose to do the work. It was for our loft, which is an hour from our home. We called the company to see when they would show and they provided that information. The electrician just called us to let us know he was 20 min away and wouldn’t wait for us. He said the warranty company isn’t his boss & we needed to find another electrician to do the work. We are just one person and he didn’t need us. The attitude and audacity of this guy was unprofessional and very rude. We will never refer this company!!!
