Although the prices can be a little expensive, its understandable since a lot of the is fairly local, and its one of the few places to get actually food. Yes, there are gas stations and convince stores around, but the milstone is the only place to get actual groceries. The staff there is super friendly, and recognize my family an I often. One of the really cool things I like about the Milstone, is that they have a ham there that they make in store and i believe they make some other things in store as well. I did take a point off just due to the area where they have milk and eggs is really off to the side, and tend to forget to get some while im there.
I cook for a living, their sirloin filets and tri tip steaks are off the hook. Salt, pepper, little butter in a cast-iron pan perfect. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Deli will special order something if you request it. For a tiny hole in the wall they do a great job.
This is a great country store. It is very well managed and operated by the owner and the great staff that works there.
Convenient farm market which also sells grocery/hygiene items and meats at butcher counter. Many fresh and local items such as fruits and vegetables, greenfield bakery fresh bread and local ice cream tubs.
