Food City

I tried calling customer service but do not get an answer each time I have tried to discuss this issue. This is my 3rd time trying Food City Pickup on Euclid. My husband prefers that I shop Food City. It’s not too bad if I’m able to come into the store, but pickup service is a disaster. There is always something wrong with the order or the pickup is not on time. There is no warning that the pickup will not be ready either. I work full time and attend grad school full time. My husband has been working 6 days a week. We have a commute to and from work. We want to utilize pick up to save us time and energy. However, if I use Food City Pickup, I only end up losing time and energy.nToday is a perfect example of this. I spent about 45 minutes online making the pickup order after getting done with work and school yesterday. I received my order number and confirmation email for pickup scheduled today at 2:30 PM. My husband stopped in to pick it up on his way home from work because I had a school commitment today. He waited 30 minutes outside the Euclid store. The pickup lady told him she couldn’t find it. She later came back empty handed and said it would be another 45 minutes. He said to cancel it. So in all, we collectively spent 1 hour and 15 minutes for a pickup order that we didn’t even get. Now, I have to waste more time to get the groceries I need.nI used to shop Kroger pick up when I was single and lived in Nashville. At least with Kroger, they called to tell me if it was running late. On top of that, they gave me a $10 gift card and my $60 groceries for no charge for my trouble. In the 2 years I shopped with them pickup, this happened at least 3 times. This was 5 years ago. They had the sense then to build relationships with their pickup customers. That’s why I prefer Kroger.nGET IT TOGETHER FOOD CITY. My husband can shop Food City if he likes, but I’m done. I’m going back to Kroger.

Just wanted to brag on an employee, you have a young lady named Brianna working the registers that is one of the beat cashiers I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Not only is she quick she also is very pleasant and helpful. Also she takes the time and her appearance is always very nicely done. I make it a point to look for her when I check out, being a little older she understands and helps me get checked out.nI hope you will do whatever you can to keep her.nThank You,nMary Musick

I am at Food City almost daily. They have the best meat in town. They now even have Prime beef which we loved. The store is always clean and well stocked. Love it when they markdown all the fancy candles and over priced detergents!
