A nice but moderate 7+ mile hike. It gets nicer the further up and away from the highway you go. It's somewhat steep in places and a lot of climbing. The top is worth it!
Great hike up to black mountain.
Lovely long hike up through the ridges and passes to the top. Incredible natural beauty and Rocky terrain. The views from the summit are superb. Alternative trails at the top lead to camping and other places, so careful when making the decent to follow the right path. Unfortunately, there are areas that have been vandalized, which detracts from the appreciation of the complete experience.
Nice Hiking, can be quite Slippery in Fall and Winter...
Nice hike. Toward the last third it was a bit overgrown. The huge rocks at the top were amazing.
