Great small campground site. 10ish site available. Very well taken care of. Access to the river and a short drive from the city. Clean bathroom, fire pit on every site. Nice and quiet when we stayed on week days
This campground had about 10 sites all very close together except site #1 which was right near the main parking lot the volt toilets stunk bad worse one I’ve been in, we stayed for 2 nights and it wasn’t cleaned at all. the iron bridge and surrounding river was pretty though! Great place for pictures and hiking! Even if you don’t camp here it’s still a great place to check out just down a Curvy road 15 minutes out of downtown Wartburg definitely worth your time!
Quiet, clean, affordable, great place to primitive camp
Amazing, primitive camp spot on the river with Nemo swimming hole near by.
Great mellow, rustic campsite right by the river. Train nose makes it lose a star but the hiking there is fantastic and it is rarely crowded.
