Ms. Teresa has been doing my taxes for years. She is very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. It's a pleasure to have her as my tax preparer.

This will be my third year of having them prepare my taxes and I have no complaints. I've only dealt with the son and he's as good as advertised, made me feel welcomed, and has been very accommodating. Nothing negative at to say would definitely recommend.

The older man there named George Joyner, also the owner apparently, shouldn't be a tax preparer based on what I've experienced. I wrote my address down on a piece of paper and he still got the house numbers incorrect. He has employees check over him constantly and he has made similar mistakes before with previous customers, which is very worrisome. I'm surprised they have such a good overall rating. I didn't discover his error until later on. I trusted he got it right because I had wrote it down on paper for him. My partner called them as soon as we realized, to resolve the issue, and Joyner never spoke to us personally which was unfortunate. He should be held responsible for his mistake and should be the one to fix the error, but we spoke to his very kind employees instead. Both of the checks were sent out to the wrong address due to his mistake, and the post office sent them back because they were undeliverable. I was told that they had sent out the change of address forms 6 weeks ago, and we still haven't received our tax refund. We recently spoke to an IRS representative and finally fixed the issue ourselves--she told us they never received a change of address form. We had to fix the problem ourselves. Joyner did our taxes in early April and it appears we won't receive our tax refund until early August. 4 months! We're beyond disappointed. I would give 1 star, but the employees we spoke to and interacted with were kind and helpful...it seems they're always fixing Joyner's mistakes. The man that prepared our taxes is clearly in the wrong field, especially if he needs employees to constantly check over him. It's sad that he can't carry his own weight in all honesty. I don't plan to revisit in the future and I suggest others to try and file electronically yourself before coming here...if you do come here, you need to make sure all information is correct...read thoroughly.
