Just pulled in for my first night here at Honey Hill Recreation Area really like it restroom was in nice shape the sites are well laid-out you have a picnic table and a lantern hooknnCame down for a winter vacation down here between here and the other spot definitely have a new favorite spot to come to now and I'm not sure what myself provider is I have a Straight Talk phone but I have two bars of service and I'm able to watch my spectrum app without any lagging or YouTube of course I'm here to camp but if I need data I've got it
Restroom needs a little work. Campground was mowed. This is a wet area, as 1 camp site had a swamp right behind it. The trails were good, as you walk beside a swamp and wear a mesquito bracelet. It was busy on the weekend, pretty quiet during the week, except for a gun range within ear shot.
The trails around this free camp site are outstanding great place to ride

It's a great weekend for camping. Worked hard over New Years and come out to have some alone time. Going to rain tonight but not cold. Got fire wood ready for tomorrow night when the rain will be gone and going to be a lot cooler. I've loved coming here sence back in the 80's.
