I've been coming to Apache for few years. I come here spring and summer with my family and stay in our RV. Here are my takeaways.nSites are large enough to have a vehicle parked in them or in front. If you have multiple vehicles in your party, there is additional parking in the front of the park. You will get a tag for your car for admission into the RV park. There are two gates, one of which closes at night.nThere is a pier, arcade, restaurant, small store that sells Hershey brand ice cream, laundry facility and book exchange. Campsites range from full hookup to water and electric for tent camping. There is beach and shaded sites. You can easily walk to the beach. I would suggest a cart to haul your things with. Some people have golf carts and there is golf cart parking right by the entrance to the beach.nSome of the sites have obstacles, like stumps or trees. If it's your first time here, come early enough that you can swing into your space before a lot of vehicles get parked. I would definitely say this park is mostly quiet, but I have ran into the occasional extremely loud gaggle of kids. I say this as a parent of five, so I would say if you have zero tolerance for children or the occasional loud campfire gathering, this park isn't for you.nThe park is extremely clean, with trash pickup in front of your RV. There are bathhouses with decent showers and toilets. The water isn't super hot or great pressure, but definitely better than the 5 minutes I get inside my RV.nYou can have a fire ring here and they do sell firewood. There is no camp provided ring, so bring your own. Likewise, bring your own grill, as ones are only stationary that I've seen at the tent camping spots.nOverall, it's a clean, family camp that we enjoy. I definitely refer my friends here.

I thought it was an ok place. We stayed for 6 days. We actually won't there much. My only complaint is I'm handicapped and when we got there to check in the step up into the office was a little steep each step and the door was a little hard to push with cane in hand. They need to put a hand rail up and maybe put better steps up there. I'm surprised with as many older people there they don't have it fixed better.

Clean and nice family camping, we have stayed there numerous times since 1981. We feel so relaxed there. The pier is amazing.

Thanks to all the people at the camp ground is the best place we have stayed! Everything there is so beautiful nice and friendly! It is really a place that you don’t want to go home from! It feels like home!!

For the Myrtle Beach area, this place is below average. Infrastructure is crumbling and common areas need upgrading. They need to create / enforce a policy that forces occupants to maintain their units and keep their lots clean. Several side streets are more like homeless encampments than a family campground.
