Worst electric company ever and rude customer service very greedy deposit is 550$ never experienced that high any where else always been 250 then when you do get prepaid they literally turn your power off over 70 cents woooowwwww seriously people

My deceased ex had the power and his name. The property was in my name also. I had to furnish the deed, death certificate, proof It was me. They wanted $400 deposit. I couldn't afford it. I did prepaid. I only come here to get away. I get a bill saying I have until July 17, 2020 to pay. I tried today. July 4, 2020 6x on the phone that account doesn't exist. This is not right ! UPDATE. Ok so today I call the power company she says they cut the power off after 7 days IF NO PAYMENT MADE. I had a $29.00 CREDIT ON MY PREPAID ACCOUNT! SHE SAID I WOULD HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER $100.00!!! TOTAL THIEVES! IN THIS DAY WITH COVID AND NO JOBS YOU SHUT POWER OFF. COASTAL YOU ARE TRASH, SPAMMERS, SCAMMERS.

The people are rude. They have no knowledge about the job that they are doing and have been cheating people out of their money for years. They really are bullies.

I didn't have the negative experiences previous posters had. I called for information on Tuesday and spoke with a lady who was very helpful. I went to the office itself on Wednesday to get my account set up. The lady at the front was polite. I only had to wait a small amount of time because I had shown up during lunch time. The lady that helped set up my account was an absolute pleasure to work with. She got my account set up without a problem and even went out of her way to show kindness and understanding, she was ultimately a blessing in disguise for my family and I. I am very satisfied with the service I received from all involved. Thank you!

Ripoff if you can avoid using this company I advise you do not use them they are scammers and they're rude rude women that work there and they don't care if you have kids or old people at home they will cut your power off even though you don't owe anything and you have a positive balance on your lights
