Nice 1.5M walking trail, about 1/4 of which is along the Edisto river, another 1/4 along a creek tributary and 1/2 backwoods. The camp ground is under construction and getting water and sewer upgrades and scheduled for completion in the spring of 2021. Plenty of areas to park and spread out. Didn't see the swimming area because it was closed, I assume because of high water levels from a lot of rain. Seems like it would be fun in the summer when the river swimming area is open.

Nice outdoor park facility with access to Edisto River, meeting hall, campground, hiking trails, playgrounds, restrooms and picnic facilities. SC State Park Pass gets you in for free and is one of 4 state parks in the Charleston SC area. We had the park to ourselves on a recent Saturday morning. The water was fairly high and running fast. Nice social distancing outdoor activity during Covid.

The park is really cozy and it has a small beach area, our dog had a blast! However, we had to pay almost $35 to enter the park, which is not reasonable it being a state park.nWe walked around and had a nice couple of hours there, it is a shame though that it is so over priced, the park should offer more activities if charging that much; or lower the price, maybe just a flat rate per vehicle to enter the premises.

Beautiful park! We enjoyed a picnic and a dip in the water with the dog today!
