I have not had Captain D's in years. While traveling we pulled off the freeway and decided to give it a shot. It was great! The fried catfish was perfectly fried fresh, moist and tasty. Friendly excellent service. Hush puppies excellent. Broccoli amd loaded bake potato were okay. This Captain D's location reminded me how much I enjoyed them many years ago. And it's okay to have fried food every now and then....especially when they do a really good job !
Well, we were greeted and we're able to make our order quickly. Unfortunately they were so busy taking care of take out customers, that we waited at least 30minutes for our dinner and then I had to carry our meal to the table myself. The young man that had been taking meals to other inside customers didn't ask to let him do it.nnThere were also other customers that their orders were not correct One couple was told that they would correct the order and they never did. So they went to the counter to get it corrected.nI don't know what happened after that.nnThe food was so-so.
This Captain D's had a moderate number of people sitting inside, not overcrowded. My carryout food was fresh tasting and hot and the coleslaw was cold. They were very courteous and also gave me a cup of water. I ordered the deluxe seafood meal.
Service was great food was great
Excellent service and good food. Wait was a little long but not too bad. Friendly staff.
