Victoria Bluff Heritage Preserve/Wildlife Management Area

We had an amazing time. It was so clean, beautiful and we'll maintained. We will definitely go here again.

I hesitate to rate this so high, as it it the closest woldlife refuge to my home:-) A beautiful place, but please pick up your trash and dog poop. Today the parking lot was full of out of state plates. Wear orange!

Beautiful trails to escape the hustle of the 21st century.

We took our dog for a hike at Victoria Bluff Heritage Preserve on our way to Hilton Head. It's game land so be sure to wear orange during hunting season. There are no official trails but a number of old roads wind through the preserve. The saw palmetto were really pretty and it's a lovely place to escape the crowds at Hilton Head. It had rained recently, so a few of the trails were flooded but we managed to find a way around. We visited in winter, I imagine the bugs are really bad in the summer.
